Elli has been handling events and operations here at The Neidhammer since May 2017.
What is your favorite thing about working at The Neidhammer?
I love working on events! I thought about going into event planning but wasn’t sure I wanted the crazy hours and the crazy parties, so it’s really fun to do it in this environment. And I love our staff, we’re like family. I love the building – it’s such a cool place to work. I love having Joel and Kristy as the owners, it’s not all about money but instead it’s about community.
In your opinion, what makes The Neidhammer unique?
The culture. It’s unique, and it comes from Joel and Kristy. It’s different here than other venues and coffee shops. It’s more about family and community, and I feel like that’s how things should be! This is my home.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I do high school drama and musicals, I teach kids bible study, I’m in choir and a handbell choir.
Why should people choose to host their events at The Neidhammer?
It’s a unique, artistic space. We love to say “yes” to your creative ideas and make your dream come true! You also get to become part of The Neidhammer family, we want you to feel like your family hosted your wedding.
Favorite drink from the coffee shop?
I love to change drinks with the season! However, my favorite might be the iced Vietnamese Coffee as that was the first drink I had at The Neidhammer. (However, I usually drink decaf :)).
What is the best piece of advice you have for brides-to-be?
Enjoy your day and don’t sweat the small stuff! Things will happen, but at the end of the day you’ll be married!
What has been one of your proudest moments working at The Neidhammer?
I love to be with a bride right before she goes down the aisle to tell her she is beautiful and see that special moment! Each event, I am so proud of our team, the way we work together and service our clients, and make each day so special for our couples.
