Neidhammer Staff Spotlight: Evan

Meet Evan! Evan is the Marketing Specialist at The Neidhammer!

Evan SherrillWhat is your favorite thing about working at The Neidhammer?
I love my co-workers! Everyone is so friendly and inviting from top to bottom, and I can’t say enough about how grateful I am to work for such an amazing and wholesome place! Mental health is so important and The Neidhammer preaches having a healthy and happy life outside of work!

In your opinion, what makes The Neidhammer stand out/unique?
The natural light in the building is unmatched! It’s easily my biggest draw to the venue! We also offer some really creative alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at the venue and can meet many special drink requests, which I think is amazing!

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I am an avid backpacker and love being outdoors. I am also a die-hard colts and ball state football fan and love going to games!

What is a fun fact about you?
I took a backpacking trip to the Smoky Mountains, and had to backpack out of the mountains in a blizzard! My group woke up on our last day to 8 plus inches of snow on the ground and it was still coming down! Scary at the time but a great story now!

Why should people choose The Neidhammer to host their events?
People should host their events at The Neidhammer because it is stress free! From ceremony to reception, we have you covered! Our staff will always have a smile and lend a helping hand as well!

What’s your favorite drink from the coffee shop?
So far my favorite drink is the Lavender Vanilla Latté, but I still have so many drinks to try!

What’s your best piece of advice for brides-to-be?
Make sure to take a lot of pictures! This is a day you are going to remember forever and wedding photos are so beautiful! Also, make sure to invest in wedding insurance! I have seen first hand how beneficial it can be!

What has been one of your proudest moments working at The Neidhammer?
My proudest moment to date was presenting my ideas for our “Green Wedding Package.” I put a lot of work into the research and my bosses were very grateful and appreciative of that. It is very nice to be recognized for putting work into something!
